T-Rex Summer 2, Week 2

Take a look at what Talented T-Rex class have been learning this week…

In Maths, we have revisited number bonds to 10 and 20. We practised recalling our number bonds and then used this knowledge to solve subtraction problems.

In Topic, we planned our sandwiches, ready to make them on Friday afternoon. First, we thought about what sandwiches we have had, thinking about the different fillings and types of bread. Then, we chose what fillings we wanted and how we would prepare them.

On Wednesday, we really enjoyed our Science Day! We learned about the life cycle of a frog. We played rock, paper, scissors and the winner moved onto the next life cycle stage, and the winner became the frog! We also learned about farms and what we might see on a farm. Then, we thought about what farms would look like in the future and drew our ideas, including robot farmers and drones.
