Wow, what a busy and fun-filled half term it’s been in Year 1! T-Rex class have been hard at work, and I’m so proud of everything they’ve accomplished.

English

In English, we’ve been learning how to write instructions, practicing clear and simple steps. The children have really enjoyed this, and it’s been great to see them apply what they’ve learned to their work.

Maths

In Maths, we’ve been exploring measures, including length, height, capacity, and time. The children have had a go at comparing objects, measuring how tall or long things are, and understanding time on the clock, particularly focusing on o’clock and half past.

A big thank you to everyone who came to our class assembly! The children were so excited to share their learning and perform for you. It was a wonderful moment, and I’m sure it made them feel extra proud.

Now, it’s time for a well-deserved break! Rest up, enjoy your time together. I can’t wait for our T-Rex adventures in the next half term!
