Maths

In Maths, we have been exploring measures, including length, mass, and capacity. The children have had the opportunity to measure different objects and compare their sizes and weights. Loki has been fantastic in our learning this week, especially when it comes to identifying the heaviest item in the balance buckets. He’s shown great confidence in sharing his ideas and has really helped to guide the class with his observations.

English

This week in English, the children have been busy writing their fact files. They’ve really impressed the adults with how detailed their work is. The sentences they’ve written are well-structured, and the fact files are turning out to be fascinating reads. The children have been including interesting facts and describing their families and favourite holidays with great enthusiasm.

Topic

In our Topic lessons, we’ve been looking at our Science topic on the Human Senses. The children have enjoyed exploring the five senses and learning how each one helps us stay safe in our everyday lives. We’ve had some fantastic class discussions, with everyone contributing their thoughts.
