Woodpeckers Autumn 1 week 2
Date: 19th Sep 2024 @ 8:29am
"Hail fellows!" as you might guess from this greeting, we have been learning about the Anglo-Saxons this week. We thought about how all of the invaders from Europe and Scandinavia reached our shores. We then went on to think about the events that happened and the consequences of these on life in Britain. Have a look at some of our work around this topic in the saved files. In English, we hace continued to develop ideas for our non-chronological reports about dragons. We also started reading How to Train Your Dragon by Cressida Cowell. The children are really enjoying the text. Our PE coach this week taught us about team work and how working together really helps when trying to out wit your opponents. We continued to think about gospel music in music this week and enjoyed singing our song "This Little Light of Mine". Matyhs has been a deeper look into numbers. Thinking about ordering, comparing and sequencing numbers up to thousand.
