Woodpeckers Autumn 1 week 3

Date: 27th Sep 2024 @ 8:28am

Hola! This week in Spanish we have been learning to  introduce ourselves and to tell you how we are feeling. I hope that everyone is feeling "bien" today! In BSL, the children learnt to sign family members and to say who lives at home with them. They concentrated so well during the lesson. In maths, it has been a week of addition looking at using the column addition method. In English, we have continued to develop ideas for our non-chronological report about dragons. The ideas are really starting to flow now. Keep an eye out for some snippets next week. Finally, in topic this week we have been thinking about the Anglo-Saxons. We learnt about monasteries and thought about all of the things that the Anglo-Saxons taught us and left behind. Did you know that they brought in laws to stop crime! They also developed the idea of strip farming.
