Woodpeckers Autumn 2 week 5

Hello everyone. This week the children have been preparing for our Christmas market. We had a class competition to design a poster to advertise our wares. Well done to Alyssa and Mila who were our winners. See their fabulous designs attached. We have also worked very hard in our termly tests. All the children did a really good job - well done to all. In topic, we learnt about canals. The children went on to write a short report about a canal in the UK. In Spanish, we learnt to say our numbers up to 100. Then we applied this when writing some sentences. In maths, we continued learning how to find fractions of amounts using our times tables facts to help us.
