Woodpeckers Spring 1 week 6

We were very happy to see so many carers at our showcase, thanks for coming along. The children have been busy this week writing their river/mountain adventure stories.The children will be coming home with their holiday homework this week too, we hope that they will enjoy completing one of the tasks. In maths, they have been discovering decimals. In PSHE, we had a look at tax and how our wages are broken down into different parts. In topic this week, the children tested their knowledge of mountains and rivers and we created worm habitats, when thinking about soil and how important soil is.

REMINDER: Swimming starts for Woodpeckers after half term. This will take place on Monday afternoons. In teh first lesson, children will need to bring either the money for a swimming hat OR their own swimming hat.
