Woodpeckers Spring 2 week 3

We have been busy improving our swimming skills this week. Some of the children learnt new skills and did really well in a " blow the flying saucer" game in their lesson. Our focus in art this week has been landscape art. The children created thumbnail sketches, using photos of the school grounds. Have a look at some of their work. In maths, we have been learning to identify acute, obtuse and right angles in shapes. We are continuing to build up ideas for our explanation text in English. Next week, we wll have some excerpts for you to read. In PE, we learnt to defend, pass and dribble in football. We then had some matches in teams.
