Woodpeckers Week 2 Spring 2

It really has felt like Spring this week and what a lovely way to spend a day on Thurasday reading and enjoying books and all things literary. We opened our doors to parents, carers and friends on Thursday afternoon. The children enjoyed taking part in a book quiz and some shared their blue folder published writing with adults nad their peers. Some of the children also took part in our cardboard-tube character competition. Have a look at some of our entries. The children worked on some lovely book covers and blurbs for our display too. Have a look at a few of these  below. In maths, we have been investigasting data in many forms and have been interpreting data. In English, we have been researching information for our explanation text on states of matter. In RE, we have been thinking about forgiveness and designed badges this week.
