Bike Safety Competition

As part of our road safety week before Christmas, the children were asked by our local police officers to design a bike helmet and explain why they had chosen to include any safety features.  The winning designs were chosen by our local police inspector.  Three winners were chosen, with children receiving a reflective bag of road safety goodies for when they are out riding their bikes, and also a gift card from the council who supported the competition.  

The police inspector was really impressed with the amount of entries and their quality.  They were particularly impressed by the care taken by some of our younger pupils, and an extra winner was picked from this age group.
